The best of flatmates

A student talks about its experiences of exam revision:

Every day, I sat down to work at my schedule. I’d be doing really well and then my flatemate would come in and start asking if I was working too hard, if I needed anything, whether I could help her, whether I should be taking a break. She kept telling me about an aunt of hers who went prematurely grey because of too much study. I always ended up getting an argument with her and then being too annoyed to focus on my work (Cottrell, S. (2006), The Exam Skills Handbook (Palgrave Macmillian: Basingstoke): p. 105).
